Terms of Use for Virunga Conservation Mosaic Submission

 

By submitting your photo to the Virtual Mosaic for Virunga National Park, you agree to the following terms:

1. Grant of Rights
By submitting your photo, you grant Virunga National Park the non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the image throughout the world in any media. This includes the right to use the image for promotional, informational, or educational purposes related to Virunga National Park.

2. Intellectual Property Rights
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to grant the rights and licenses provided herein. You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to your submitted photo.

3. Image Usage
The images submitted to the Virtual Mosaic may be displayed on the Virunga National Park website, social media channels, and any other related platforms. Virunga National Park reserves the right to choose how and where these images will be displayed.

4. Image Modifications:
Virunga National Park may, in its sole discretion, crop, resize, or otherwise modify your image to fit the requirements of the Virtual Mosaic. This includes adjusting non-square images to fit the mosaic format.

5. Inappropriate Content:
Virunga National Park reserves the right to not display images that are deemed inappropriate, offensive, or violate any applicable laws or regulations.

6. No Commercial Use:
The images submitted to the Virtual Mosaic may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the respective image owner.

7. Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify and hold Virunga National Park harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your submitted photo.

8. Governing Law:
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes relating to these terms and the use of the Virtual Mosaic shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
