Virunga’s Conservation Mosaic will showcase 5,000 photos contributed by dedicated Park supporters. It will serve as a testament to the collective effort and passion of our local and international community to protect Africa’s oldest national park.

By participating in this initiative, you can submit a personal photo that holds special significance to you, your connection to Virunga, or your appreciation for nature. This photo will be transformed into a porcelain tile, joining countless others to form an inspiring larger photo mural.

YOUR PERSONAL PHOTO IN THE HEART OF AFRICA'S

OLDEST NATIONAL PARK

Imagine the impact of seeing your cherished photo displayed among others, each representing a shared appreciation for Virunga and its protectors.

Once we reach our goal, we will bring this vision to life and the construction of the photo mosaic mural will commence at the heart of the Park.

REMEMBERING VIRUNGA'S COURAGEOUS RANGERS

HONORING THE FALLEN

We will also honor the memory of Virunga’s fallen Rangers by inscribing their names in remembrance and appreciation for their bravery and sacrifice. More than 200 Rangers have lost their lives protecting the Park, this will ensure that their legacy lives on, and their courage continues to inspire generations to come.
